Little Amal visits Brighton for the first time on Thursday 30 March to lead a walk along Brighton beach.
This event follows an earlier private meeting between Amal and children and families who have sought safety and asylum in the UK. In partnership with Fitzherbert Community Hub, Voices in Exile, Together with Refugees and Brighton Table Tennis Club.
Since she began her journey from the Syrian border, Little Amal has come to represent the millions of children who have become refugees, many separated from their families. Her urgent message to the world is “Don’t forget about us.”
Everyone is invited to walk alongside Amal.
Time: 6:00pm
Meeting point: Golden Spiral, opposite The West Pier, Lower Promenade Brighton Beach
All of Amal’s events are suitable for children and families
