Light Night Wigan

The canals in and around Wigan are special places and an integral part of our history. Over two nights, artists will bring light to this incredible place, raising awareness of the waterways and creating new experiences and wonder during the winter evenings.

Many of the artists included in Light Night have a particular interest in the natural world and our role as custodians of the planet. Their work will delight and intrigue visitors of all ages, who can see all the work at the same time as enjoying time in the open air.
