This year’s theme recognises that Caribbean culture itself is the crown bold, vibrant and globally influential.

From the rhythms of Soca, Reggae and Calypso to the breathtaking artistry of Mas costumes, Caribbean carnival traditions continue to inspire the world and Leicester is no exception.
We honour the legacy of iconic carnivals like Trinidad & Tobago Carnival, Crop Over and Notting Hill Carnival, while celebrating the richness of our own local Caribbean community.
