Come and join the procession of light from Eastbury Manor House to the Abbey Ruins, Barking. If you don’t want to join the parade, you can stand somewhere along the route and give us a wave as we travel past.

The Guy Fawkes Lantern Parade takes place on Sunday 6 November from Eastbury Manor House and ends up at the Abbey Ruins, where there will be a free, family event starting at 4pm with amazing stage acts, live music and street theatre.
The event features Laser Light City by BAFTA winning artist Seb Lee-Delisle, don’t miss this mesmerising light and laser show finale.
3.15pm – Meet at Eastbury Manor House
4.15pm – Parade safety briefing and line up
4.30pm – Parade leaves promptly
5.15pm – Parade arrives at the Abbey Ruins
Our FREE parade, organised in partnership with Creative Barking & Dagenham, will involve local schools and residents from around the area and everyone is welcome to take part.
The Parade of Light will include a Guy Fawkes and magical lanterns lighting the streets of the borough. To join us on the parade groups, families or individuals need to book early as spaces are limited.
Participants are encouraged to build and bring their very own Guy and/or wear bright fiery coloured clothing, glowing accessories and face paint. Remember to wrap up warm for the winter weather!
Spaces are limited so we encourage families and groups to book spaces early to avoid disappointment. Everyone is welcome to join the parade, which will take approximately 45 minutes, along the closed roads and pavements.
The café at Eastbury Manor House will be open for hot and cold drinks and snacks.
