We’re celebrating Dewsbury’s history, heritage and creativity with the Friends of Crow Nest Park with a very special Garden Tea Party in the walled garden.
Throughout the afternoon, we will be serving up a proper cup of Yorkshire Tea and a slice of cake, the Tea Ladies from Axial Dance will be on hand to show you how it’s done properly!
Bring your blankets, chairs, (and appropriate clothing for the weather!) to explore The Bees that have set up home for the day on the lawn. Wander amongst the honey-perfumed Bee Colony, and take a peek inside their hives to discover an unexpected world inside.
This FREE family, friendly event is suitable for all ages and is part of the national Heritage Open Days taking place across the country from 6th – 15th September.
Event is FREE however donations will be welcome on the day. No booking is needed.
The event is organised in partnership with The Friends of Crow Nest Park and Crow Nest Park Adventure Playground.
