This is a free, family-friendly event open to all. Over 2000 spectators, young people, installation artists, dance artists, musicians and artists light up our towns!

This is Kala The Arts’ flagship event, presented and choreographed by our team since 2021. With dhol drummers, glowing lanterns, large-scale light installations, animated costumes and performances representing our diverse communities, Light It Up! has become a vibrant festival of culture, captivating the public imagination each year and engaging with thousands of audience members across Hampshire, Berkshire and beyond.
