Circus Science Festival Blends Fun with Urgent Climate Action
Juanita the climate crisis clown, the world’s tiniest trained acrobats of the Amazing Flea Circus and a neuroscientist who juggles flipcharts are part of the cast at Europe’s only circus science festival. Circus Science by the Sea returns to Westport and Achill Island, County Mayo for a third year, from 15th – 17th November.
Produced by Circus250 and supported by Science Foundation Ireland, this unique festival blends circus arts with science, delivering a weekend of performances, interactive workshops, and discussions that spark joy, while addressing urgent topics like climate change and plastic pollution.
