Don’t miss the Brentford Canal Festival 2025, on Saturday 21st June – a fabulous FREE day out celebrating the historic canals, waterways and creative communities of this vibrant West London neighbourhood.
Last year attracted an estimated 5000 – 6000 visitors and residents to Brentford town centre and waterways.
This year there’s going to be more going on than ever, with activities for everyone in a number of locations across Brentford: The Grand Union Canal, River Brent and River Thames, in Brentford Market Place, The Gauging Lock, Brentford Lock Piazza, The Grand Union Canal Walkway, Workhouse Dock and Brentford Lock West.
Here’s just a taster of what’s on offer:
Free sightseeing Boat Trips, Kayaking and paddleboarding taster sessions, International Dance Troupes, Katakanu trips, Floating Market, Art Exhibits, Morris Dancing, Street Food Market, Kid’s Activities & roving entertainers, Arts and Crafts Workshops, Artisan and Makers stalls, RNLI lifesaving demos, Inland Waterways Association and Canal & River Trust stalls.
There are SIX STAGES of live music including three brand new locations at The Beehive Car Park, Brentford Lock West and floating stages at the Brentford Gauging Lock and in Workhouse Dock.
It’s a packed schedule so you’ll need sustenance to keep you going.
This is ably supplied by the fabulous local cafés, restaurants, pubs and bars along with loads of tasty offerings from street food stalls with something for everyone to keep you going throughout the day.
