LASTheatre – The Rascally Diner

Performances at 11am & 2pm

Chef Rufus Skumskins O’Parsley is famous for creating some of the world’s most disgusting dishes. You might know him from the award-winning children’s book The Rascally Cake, written by Jeanne Willis and Korky Paul.

LAStheatre’s production creatively and playfully explores the joy of food and where it comes from, as well as our food choices and their impact on the environment in this messy, silly and fantastic production that will make all squirm with delight!

Levantes Dance Theatre – High Tea (with a twist)

Performances at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3pm

Dressed to impress as always, the Canapé Art twins perform dance and acrobatics above a tastefully laid tea table, and mingle with the crowd for selfies and a cuppa. Expect glittery cakes, outrageous costumes and theatrical high jinx in an explosion of bright colour and silliness.

Under the direction of performer/designer Eleni Edipidi, Levantes Dance Theatre creates contemporary circus performances which are witty, inclusive and visually strong.

Calf2Cow – The Wave

Performances at 12pm & 3pm

The pirate ship, Wave Goodbye to Your Sanity, has been lost at sea for weeks, or perhaps it is years? Crewed by three buffoonish, broken, musical playing sailors, they need your help on a journey of incredible highs and sudden lows as they battle against the stormy seas.

The Wave is a bonkers, riotous, clowning show, brought alive through water-fights, sea shanty, trembling drums, electric guitars, colour bombs, flares, floor stomping songs and lots of falling over! And if that’s not enough. Seagulls and Mermaids! Join us aboard as we share a tale of isolation, love, loneliness and hysteria.

Cat & Mouse Theatre – Blockbuster Factory

Walkabout performances at 12.30pm & 2pm

At great expense, we have flown the great American movie director Martin Beilsperg to the UK, and teamed him up with legendary playwright Charles Bexley Heath.

Out on the street they recruit stars and crew for their latest Blockbuster, with a little help from Phil the boom guy. Phil, unfortunately, has forgotten all the props, but did manage to bring a whole box of bananas; all kinds of movies from horror to comedy to war to thrillers are played out with every prop replaced by a Banana!

Farm Yard Circus

Performances at 1pm and 4pm

A warm and cheery, family-friendly, farm-life inspired circus spectacle, the Farm Yard Circus comprises group acrobatics, juggling, theatre, and live music.

Expect a bewildering display of group acrobatics and juggling using hay bales, wheelbarrows, a tractor tyre, and even an old scarecrow! The show is set to a score of old-time tunes and raucous rhythms that will bring the cows home, played live throughout.

As well as these fantastic performances, expect to take part in have-a-go creative activities, browse our arts and crafts market and enjoy tasty treats from local food stalls.

Don’t miss our chill-out zone where you can sit down and relax with a good book, as well as our Community Stage featuring performers from our youth companies and others.

Plus on Saturday, our cafe bar will be serving hot and cold drinks and refreshments both indoors and out from our Summer Social kiosk.
