If you have a passion for arts and culture in the widest sense with strong admin skills, we want to hear from you…

As we begin to put ourselves back together after a rather challenging couple of years, now would be a great time to join OutdoorArtsUK (OAUK) and work with us to reaffirm the position of the outdoor arts sector in the UK.

For this job, we’re looking for a bit of an all-rounder, as we’re a very small team and everybody has to do a bit of everything. You’ll need an understanding of and passion for culture in its broadest sense, and some knowledge and appreciation of outdoor arts.

You’ll have oven-ready skills in certain areas in order to hit the ground running and be keen to fill in any gaps in your previous experience (let’s spend that training budget). To support and work with the membership, you’ll be open, approachable and friendly. You’ll need to be creative and resourceful to respond to a wide range of member’s questions; you won’t know all the answers, but you’ll be able to find out who does.

You’ll be flexible to respond to constantly changing circumstances and able to take initiative, manage your time and trust your own judgement.

The Managing Director will work full time alongside the Director to manage the day-to-day operations, finance, governance, and administrative systems, and, crucially, look after the membership.
