Lister Park Lantern Parade

Lister Park lantern parade is back on Friday November 1st 2024.

6pm Pre parade performances in front of Cartwright Hall

6.30pm Parade will set off from the front of Cartwright Hall

7.30pm Fire finale at the bowling green

Music from the Peace Artistes, Banda na Rua and Jamba Samba. Cartwright Hall galleries will also be open.

One hour long lantern making workshops will happen at four times inside Cartwright Hall on Nov 1st and can be booked using this link (£6 per lantern):

We also have free (PAYF) workshops in St Phillips Church every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6.30pm from Tues 24th September to Tues 29th October. You can book your free place on Eventbrite searching for Cecil Green Arts.
