The One Dance UK awards saw a performance from Justice in Motion and wins from Akademi and Sara Mcqueen:
- Sarah Mcqueen (Linden Dance) won The Health & Wellbeing in Dance Award.
- Akademi Dance won the Green Dance Award for Pravaas.
The One Dance UK Awards are an annual celebration for people from across the dance sector to unite, celebrate, acknowledge and reward the people who have made an impact on the vibrant UK dance landscape! Championing the excellent work of dance artists, teachers, practitioners, educators, schools, choreographers, companies, venues, scientists, and writers, this is a glittering evening of celebrations, all for those who contribute to the dance sector throughout the UK.
For 2024, the event was held on Saturday 10 February at The Box, FarGo Village in Coventry.
Prior to the Awards, a panel discussion explored collaboration, infrastructure, and networks, and how to nurture the conditions needed for a thriving dance ecology to exist in Coventry.
