We are absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of our new OutdoorArtsUK Co-Chairs: Camille Ben Soussan and Lorna Rees.
Both Cam and Lorna have served on the OAUK Board for some time and this development of their relationship with the organisation is great news for the team, the rest of the Board and, most of all, for the sector. As we work our way through the next few years in our new status as an Arts Council England IPSO, we look forward hugely to their contributions, guidance and support. It is our first time having two Chairs – and Cam and Lorna’s experience and skills complement each other perfectly – and they are both hugely busy, so a shared role is a very practical way forward. It is also really pleasing for the sector to have an artist and a producer in these leadership roles and fantastic for OAUK to help keep the balance on our ever-growing membership.
Congratulations to them both on their appointment (which was unanimously voted for by the Board) and we look forward to good times ahead!
