Crowborough| Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Streets of Crowborough on Saturday 4 Mar, 11.30am – 2.30pm! An incredible lineup of acts, including The Seal by Circo Rum Baba, The Enchanted Flower Globe by The Show Globe, The Wardens by The 2 Men, and Crimplene Crusaders by Vamos Theatre. Free and suitable for all ages, don’t miss out on this exciting event.

Whitley Bay| Window Wonders is an Art Trail taking place across 10 streets in Whitley Bay on Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 Mar, 6-9pm. Organised by a group of residents, who aim to bring delight and wonder through a series of installations by residents in their windows, celebrating their neighbourhood.

London| Last weekend to see The Light Festival at Battersea Power Station! One of the best free activities to do in London this winter, brightening up the dark evenings again with the largest collection of installations to date. Ends 5 Mar.

Australia|WOMADelaide welcomes international artists to the stunning Botanic Park, 10-11 Mar, with the return of the aerial spectacular Gratte Ciel’s Place des Anges (France) and headline performances from Florence + the Machine (UK), Bon Iver (USA) and Youssou N’Dour & Le Super Étoile de Dakar (Senegal).

Hailsham| The Streets of Hailsham is a FREE Event on Friday 11 Mar! Including the following shows: Hodman Dodmanott and Sally Forth by The Flying Buttresses (Two tiny elderly backpackers set out to fathom the modern world!); The Sea Sphere by Show Globe (An enchanting mermaid glides through Hailsham); Granny Turismo – The world’s first and only shopping trolley dance display team; and UK African Acrobats – Sizzling skills honed on the streets of Dar Es Salaam.

Hull | The Awakening is returning to Hull City Centre 17-18 Mar. This free-to-attend event brings the opportunity to explore world-class installations and performances, with Hull’s historic areas lit up with giant figures and forms as you’ve never seen before. There is an extra ticketed gig on Sunday 19 Mar.

Dublin | London | New York | The world-famous St. Patrick’s Festival Parade in Dublin takes place on Friday 17th Mar starting at 12 midday. You can also celebrate in London on Sunday 12 Mar in Trafalgar Square and watch the parade in New York on Friday 13 Mar.

Staffordshire | Appetite, ArtsKeele and Imagineer are collaborating on a project called Imagine Bamboo at Keele University. They will build a giant arch made from UK-grown borinda bamboo over four days for the public to view on Saturday 18 Mar.

Uckfield| Streets of Uckfield is a FREE event on Saturday 18 Mr! Yeshe The Yak by Thingumajig Theatre present the gentle, mysterious Yeshe is very fond of children, especially those who carefully stroke his nose or tickle his fringe.

Scotland| Mosey on down to our free outdoor performances of The Good, The Bad and The Poultry by Adrenalism, fit for the whole family – no fowl language here! They have just announced their tour dates including three in March in Giffnock (18 Mar), Fife (25 Mar) and Dunoon (26 Mar).

Sheffield| The Sharrow Lantern Carnival is a celebration of community and creativity, a free family event on Sunday 19 Mar. Anyone can join in, make a lantern, or dance in the street! The Sharrow Lantern Carnival is an annual community arts event for families attracting around 2000 people, hundreds of whom bring hand-made lanterns to parade through the streets in a celebration of creativity and togetherness.

Staffordshire| On Saturday 25 Mar, experience Harecastle Tunnel come to life as the backdrop of Down The Rabbit Hole, a magical sound and light projection . Story, projection and sound artists, Illuminos have worked with students from The Kings Church of England Academy to create this stunning projection for Kidsgrove.

Brighton and Hove| Tarner Glow Festival is a community festival afternoon on Saturday 25 Mar based on the theme of glow/light/fire – the end of winter ‘coming into the light out of the dark’. Led by children & young people working with local artists to showcase their work.
