What’s It all about?
Tower Hamlet Council’s Arts, Parks and Events team are delighted to back at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park for the first physical, post-covid networking and sharing event! We have invited a range of speakers to address some of the key issues in 2023 and look forward to bringing together the thriving arts community of Tower Hamlets. This borough remains a hub of activity for the creative sector and home to so many emerging and established arts organisations. Many of these will be in attendance in order to share some of their expertise and professional know-how!
Speakers include the following:
• Adam Jeanes – Relationship Manager (part of the London Music Team), Arts Council England
• Laura Furner – Arts and Wellbeing Producer, St Margaret’s House
• Husna Parvin – Visual artist
• Catherine Ritman Smith – Head of Learning and Engagement, Young V&A

• Meet council arts officers and learn how we can support local arts practitioners and organisations
• Discuss collaborative opportunities with other venue managers, performers, artists, other participants and event organisers
• Discover the capacity building opportunities as well as the unique spaces and great facilities available for hire to voluntary and community groups
• Spread the word about what you are currently doing or planning and learn about how to reach out and help build local audiences by taking advantage of the many free publicity platforms available
