Ockham’s Razor: Professional Masterclass, Portsmouth
May 1, 2024

Devising on new equipment with Charlotte Mooney Co-Artistic Director of Ockham’s Razor.
Includes a ticket to the 7.30pm performance of Tess by Ockham’s Razor on Wednesday 1st May

This is a 3-hour workshop in partnership with Crying Out Loud for professional/emerging circus artists looking at adapting their creative practice to new equipment.  Working with an original piece of equipment, a wooden climbing wall used in Ockham’s Razor’s latest show Tess on stage at New Theatre Royal, together we will explore a series of playful tasks and prompts to explore new movement. We will look at how to create striking images in circus and how we can draw meaning from these.

There will be also an opportunity to meet the team from Crying Out Loud who are working across the Solent to support physical and visual theatre artists. If you require financial support to access the Masterclass then please email projects@cryingoutloud.org with your details.
