Join OAUK and Hat Fair for Sunday morning coffee and pastries. Hat Fair is celebrating its 50th birthday this year, and it has been instrumental in inspiring and supporting the development of Finland’s first ever dedicated Outdoor Arts festival HOP!fest in Pori.
Take part in the discussion with our Finnish guests Angelika Meusel and Karoliina Ailasmaa, and Hat Fair Director Andrew Loretto. A 50 year-old UK festival and a brand new Finnish festival – how do they compare, what can they learn from each other, and where might such a partnership go in the future in developing new work and opportunities? We invite established and emerging festival makers, artists and companies experienced or interested in international collaboration. Come and engage in a conversation about cross-border sector development.

The Play To The Crowd Pop Up Ideas Shop, unit 37, is in The Brooks shopping centre. It’s on the top floor, next to HMV and opposite Primark. There’s step free access available via the ground floor and the lift.
Doors will open at 9:30. Roundtable discussion will be from 10-11am and then you’ll be free to network from 11-12noon.
There are two spaces in the shop, one with step free access and one without, please let us know if you have any access requirements as we will use the most appropriate space for our attendees.
