Making It – Introduction to Physical Theatre for Outdoor Performance (IOU)

Exploring playfulness, connection, character and physicality through games and exercises, Garth’s methods will hone in on physical performance helping you develop the confidence to use your body to tell a story, along with tips on how to improvise and interact with an audience.

No previous experience necessary for the two hour taster session– just a willingness to play along, perhaps a sense of humour, and if you can some kind of handy prop (possibly from your kitchen or shed). If you haven’t got one, one can be provided for you (a prop not a sense of humour).

The workshop takes place at IOU’s studio at Dean Clough, Halifax
