Corey Baker Dance

Corey Baker Dance (CBD) is an award-winning dance/production company based in the UK. It creates distinctive dance for stage, screen and often in unusual locations. A common theme to CBD’s work is the vulnerability of our planet and the need for a global response to the climate emergency.

CBD is celebrated for viral films like the BBC’s Swan Lake Bath Ballet, the BBC’s most viewed arts film in 2020, and Antarctica: The First Dance, created for Channel 4 and Earth Day, the first dance ever created and performed on the icy continent.

From performances in museums to the tops of skyscrapers to the tips of icebergs, CBD has pushed boundaries and innovated dance to connect the art form to a global audience.

Corey Baker Dance frequently partners with and is supported by: Arts Council England, Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College, BBC Arts, Channel 4, Birmingham Hippodrome, Science Museum London, United Nations Environmental Programme and Royal New Zealand Ballet.

Imagineer
