Work with experienced sculptural lantern makers to create a large scale illuminated boar lantern with moving parts.

Overview: Across the 3 day masterclass you will work with a small group of artist/makers to create a large-scale Boar lantern.
Attendees will learn the process of sculptural lantern making from design, to shaping, covering and decorating, alongside creating mechanisms for moving parts and lighting techniques.
The Boar lantern will then be debuted at the upcoming Stoke Lanterns event on Friday 21st March.
Tutors: Richard Redwin and Dan Higgs are artist and makers with years of experience, designing, building and operating sculptural lanterns, mechnaical puppets and installations.
