What to Expect:
In this pratcical wokshop, you’ll have access to Company Chameleon’s Lighting equiptment under the expert guidence of lighting Designer Josh Tomlin.
You’ll look at the basic tools of direction and colour to create atmosphere and emotion, how to generate visual ideas and of course how to incoportate them into your own work!
**PLEASE NOTE: Josh has asked those attending the workshop to prepare a short peice of movement to work with in the session.
About Josh:
Josh Tomalin is a lighting designer and photographer for dance and theatre. In both art forms, he starts with a blank frame and works to reveal the essence and emotion of the scene.
Designs include works for Joss Arnott, James Wilton, Jaivant Patel, Lea Anderson, Jamaal Burkmar, Sharon Watson, Vidya Patel, Kevin Finnan and Kevin Edward Turner.
He was awarded a 2006 ALD Michael Northern Award for his work at LAMDA. His photographic work appears in newspapers, posters and online.
