Creativity is at the heart of the performing arts, so it is vital to be aware of the law that surrounds the use of creative work, and how you can do this with confidence. This session will introduce the basic principles of Intellectual Property (“IP”) law, with a particular focus on copyright, which protects literary, musical and dramatic work, making it the most important IP right to know about when creating a performing arts work.
