EmPOWer Masterclass, Online
Sep 26, 2022

Book now and join us: Monday 26th September on Zoom at 5.30pm for a FREE inspirational Masterclass from co-founder and Chief Executive Jane Hytch of Imagineer. Find out how the company’s outdoor site-specific projects are created with a small workforce yet which are extraordinarily memorable with huge IMPACT.

From the iconic Lady Godiva puppet, made for the Cultural Olympiad, leading a procession of corgis for the Jubilee pageant to Sanctuary Burn – the burning of a giant temple by Californian artist David Best in a project which incorporated contributions from local communities in the form of artefacts and mementos. This outdoor spectacular marked the high point of a two year project with community members who marked their COVID losses in a powerful symbol of catharsis and rebirth.

In this session we continue our focus on diversity and Outdoor Arts. In this event, we’ll consider how Imagineer, like OPUS, another female led company have carried out projects (both large and small) over this summer, with a range of diverse communities. We will also explore how a vast number of partners around the world have helped make that happen with inclusion and nuance.
