This workshop will focus on the different relationships between Artists and Producers. We will demystify the relationship through looking at different roles and responsibilities, mapping the creative and producing process of creating and touring work and looking at some case studies to understand the dynamic between artist and producer.
Led by Kevin Wratten & Axel Satgé, Co-Founders and Producers of Split Second – a producing company collaborating with artists who blur the lines between circus, dance and theatre.
This session is targeted at self-producing Artists making their own work with an interest in finding and collaborating with a Producer, or for other early career arts professionals (administrators, coordinators) with an interest in better understanding the Producing role.
