Based in the South West, Nikki and Laura have been performing for over 30 years between them. Companies they have individually worked with include:

Nikki and Laura founded TrashCat Productions in early 2021 thanks to an Arts Council National Lottery Grant and support from WECA.
Our first show, Street Cat Strut, was born from our desire to combine our performance disciplines of dance, theatre, circus and a bit of Kung-fu with our love of cats! Street Cat Strut is an outdoor family show that combines high impact Chinese pole (on a freestanding pole) with acrobatics, kung fu, dance and comedy. It stars two cartoon-like cat characters, who tussle for top spot as they chase, prowl, dance and purr their way up and down the five metre high pole. It is a non-verbal piece with a musical score, set on the streets of whichever town we visit.
