Our award-winning productions are rooted in Kathak and Indian classical music but draw on contemporary influences to create distinctive, relevant and accessible artistic experiences for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
We tour internationally to theatres, arts centres and festivals, as well as unconventional spaces, including schools, libraries, parks and museums. We are committed to presenting energetic work with live music wherever possible with high quality percussion, instrumental, and vocals as well as soundscapes.
Mughal Miniatures, our hugely successful series of dance performances will be touring May-October 2025. As well as our very popular productions of The Awakening, Animal Paradise and The Peacock and the Princess we have added a beautiful brand-new production called The Elephant and the Drummer which is available as a static or a walkabout performance.
Mughal Miniatures celebrates and takes inspiration from the exquisite traditional art of Indian and Persian miniature painting. Our Mughal Miniatures performances can enhance and enliven a multitude of performance sites: urban high streets, heritage properties, landscaped gardens, green field festivals, museums and galleries. Mughal Miniatures is scaleable and flexible so there’s something suitable for every location!
