Events, festivals, parades, live music, outdoor arts… I'll make it happen!

I’m an experienced events, arts and culture professional, especially interested in outdoor events as a way to revitalise spaces, engage communities and make arts and culture accessible.

I have a background in project management, admin and event management, with event planning experience dating back to my University internship in 2008.

During my time at Liverpool ONE’s Place Strategy department, I was responsible for coordinating the outdoor events programme – managing Risk Assessments, budget trackers, project trackers and evaluation reports; liaising with artists, suppliers and partners; overseeing on-site installation and delivery.

As a Project Communications Manager at XTRAX, the organisation managing the Without Walls outdoor arts network, I led on the Communication strategy and worked with artists, festivals and international partners, delivering workshops, online events, showcases and networking meetings at some of the major outdoor arts festivals in the UK,  e.g. Birmingham International Dance Festival, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Stockton International Riverside Festival, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival.

As Creative Projects Manager at Curated Place, I was responsible for the maintenance of production systems, database development, live production duties and strategic operations support. I worked on planning, production and delivery of the first two editions of NOVUM, a city-scale multi-arts festival – overseeing H&S paperwork, budgets, and creative documents; supporting live production with set up and take down, managing volunteers and dealing with stakeholders enquiries.
