Making people laugh for over 20 years. Featuring the UK's only female knife thrower performing a solo show outdoors. We make walkabout, installation, dancing in the street, street shows & fun!

Frenetic Engineering have produced and performed outdoor and tented shows for over 20 years. Specialising in acts that include the audience and make them feel part of the show we love to bring people of all ages together to laugh. With some of our shows we also love to give them something to think about once they’ve left the show.

We’ve performed all over the UK and internationally, including shows at: The National Theatre, The Hat Fair (Winchester), Mouth of the Tyne, Waterford Spraoi, Glastonbury Festival (all stages in T & C but one!), Shambala Festival, Bestival, Northside Festival (Denmark), Perth and Adelaide Festivals in Australia and many many more.

Frenetic Engineering have a great team which love to bring the unexpected: be it giant dancing eggs or potatoes, seasonal acts, stunning bubble sculptures and giant bubbles, flying knives, having people of all ages dancing in the street, parades, interactive talent shows and duo street shows. The other part of our work is our creative director’s solo acts and comepereing.

Annabelle has performed all over the world with her knife throwing including in 5 award nominated shows in Australia, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Spain and many more. As part of her DYCP she created a female empowerment knife throwing workshop (for all women) to work alongside her shows.

Annabelle is an accomplished compere/hostess with the mostest and has MC’d all over including Shambala Festival (14 years), Bestival, Fling Festival, Redfest (Main Stage 3,000+ audience) , Christmas Lights switch on (5,000 + audience), Paisley Halloween Parade, Mouth of the Tyne Festival and many more, her most notable accomplishment is for the last 3 years she has hosted the legendary Circus Big Top at Glastonbury Festival (3,000 seater). As well as large venues she loves working with more intimate audiences and us adept at building and keeping a crowd to create a great atmosphere.

We have curated cabaret shows for over 20 years. We love crafting site specific shows and working with festival directors to create their dream work to suit their breif and bring new exciting work. Shambala Festival, St Patrick’s Day Parade, Vegan Fest, Bestival, DOCA, Oswestry and many more have enjoyed working with us to make their shows unique to them.
