Juggling / Parkour / Street / Stage Clown about town. Developing new outdoor work!
I am a juggler and clown who has spent the last 18 years working on my technical discipline, using traditional juggling props and exploring unusual object manipulation. My current work explores both technical and spectacular juggling with a particular interest in presence, creating live authentic experiences. My performance work has taken me to international arts festivals including CIRCa Circus Festival Auch, Edinburgh Fringe and Stockton International Riverside Festival. As well as devising my own work I have collaborated with a number of established companies, including Desperate Men, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Cirque Bijou and Gandini Juggling.
My newest project, GREY AREA, is a continuation of themes I have been playing with for the past few years. These themes include public spaces, surveillance culture and site specific creation. Grey Area is made to be interacted and created with the built environment to create a new outdoor circus show where the audience is invited to join me on this exploration as I show them my gentle research. My actions draw attention not only to myself, but to the architecture itself all through a neurodivergent lens.
