The ISACS Network and SpringMoves Dance Festival are delighted to bring back Where Dance meets Circus in partnership with Wexford County Council and the National Opera House.
This year Where Dance Meets explores collaborative practice and presentation between the art forms of Circus and Dance. ISACS are delighted to bring Cikada Circus to Wexford for a 2-day event where they will perform ‘Cikada’ on Saturday and deliver a Masterclass in the spaces of the National Opera House on Sunday.
Cikada by Cikada Circus
‘Cikada’ is an intimate show that displays hand to hand partner acrobatics with two performers. The show uses Acrobatic-Theatre to display a mix between habits of humans and insects, highlighting the connectedness between humans and the rest of the natural world. Described as ‘hilarious and heartwarming’, the performers put a smile on faces and leaves audiences captivated.
