This striking and playful duet from Candoco and choreographer Jamaal Burkmar, connects with its public audience. Candoco Dance Company is the world’s foremost inclusive dance company. Mughal Miniatures

Sonia Sabri Company presents Mughal Miniatures an upbeat and fun outdoor production, with performers in sumptuous costumes creating vibrant and colourful mini worlds of dance, music and puppetry. A series of pop-up, living pictures evoke scenes of Indian princely courts and lush gardens, and the glory of the Mughal period with a contemporary twist, undercutting expectations and delighting and surprising passers-by.

Choogh Choogh

Inspired by the joy for travelling through India on a train, Choogh Choogh combines classical Indian dance with contemporary movement, theatre and play. The journey starts with the audience getting a special choogh choogh ticket. Three artists weave a traveling tapestry with three scarves, morphing from one scene to the next as the sights, sounds and smells whiz by.

Pravaas

A promenade performance inspired by the climate migration of people from the Sundarbans across India and Bangladesh.

Ancient Futures

Afrofuturism inspired outdoor spectacular. Blending circus and storytelling with Sound System culture and West African folklore. Each day, our flamboyant Afrinauts arrive as curious visitors, welcoming willing participants to witness their unique community. In the evening, audiences join their spectacular dance party, a ritual to launch us into a new reality.
