Glass House Dance invite you to join them on a clubbing journey through the ages at Tilbury Picnic in the Park.
They’re looking for foot-tappers, dad dancers, disco divas, jumping jivers, old school ravers and everyone in between to get involved in the party with Time Machine Disco: A Century Hoppin’ Dance Extravaganza.
Plus, Applause Rural Touring and Casson & Friends will be there for a performance of their interactive dance show Arcade from their Let’s Play THURROCK! project which they have been working on across the borough over the last several months!
Each show features six unique games with a fun and bouncy electronic soundtrack.
Plus there‘s a live DJ set, face painting and a host of other family entertainment including more performances from local groups.
Tilbury Picnic in the Park is being organised by Tilbury Riverside Project with support from Start Thurrock, Port of Tilbury and EMR Tilbury Dock Scrap Metal, Thurrock Council, Thurrock CVS, Impulse Leisure and Active Essex.
Entry to this event and the majority of activities are free and we encourage you to come along with a picnic to share with your family and friends.
Some additional activities may incur a small cost, and refreshments such as tea, coffee, ice creams and cakes will be available to buy on the day.
