The Swings

The Swings invites you into a shared playground of flight, freedom and joy. Part performance, part installation, this striking work centres on a magnificent, larger-than-life swing set that’s five metres high, with two giant swings. Throughout the day, two aerial artists appear and disappear, using the swings as their apparatus to soar, glide and play above the ground. Between performances, the space opens up and you can step in, take a seat and swing. A playful, poetic experience that invites you to fly high and free.

Please note that this event takes place outdoors on grass. While we’re hoping for sunshine, we encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
