TAC 25, Spain
May 21, 2025 - May 25, 2025

The Valladolid International Street Theater and Arts Festival has become a cultural landmark where action, observation, fun, excitement, emotion, and reflection work to redefine urban space and bring extraordinary dynamism to the entire city of Pisuerga.

We can affirm that, from a sociological and symbolic perspective, the TAC has long since become part of the city’s idiosyncrasy, transcending what we would conceptually understand as a cultural event that condenses, in a short space of time, a large number of artistic proposals with relatively complex logistics.

The TAC is the moment when the city of Valladolid and its citizens come together to deeply experience theatricality; understanding this as the relationship between the various stakeholders of the artistic community—creators, performers, audiences, and urban space—that fosters something not normally observed and that allows us to challenge personal and collective perceptions.

In recent editions, the TAC has focused its attention, efforts, and resources on Street Performing Arts, in its broadest, multidisciplinary, and integrative sense, to once again intervene and occupy urban space, transforming the architectural and landscape configuration of the city of Valladolid into scenographies, creating scenarios for artists, creators, and audiences to inhabit.

The 25th edition of the Valladolid International Festival of Theater and Street Arts is organized by the Municipal Culture Foundation of the Valladolid City Council and supported by the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM). In addition, for this edition, collaborations have been established with AQUAVALL, the Etxepare Institute of the Basque Government, the Michelin Foundation, the Caja Rural de Zamora Foundation, the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Industries, and El Norte de Castilla.
