For our ‘Stop and Play’ project (running Tuesday 9th – Sunday 14th July 2024) [per]mission to Play will be in the Canton area of Cardiff. We will be exploring, highlighting, and playfully subverting how the city shapes our behaviour, movements, and actions in public space. We will engage with in-person artistic and research methods, conversations, and experimentation in public space.
We will hold informal meet-ups to chat about our project themes, Cardiff, and public space (details to be announced on www.instagram.com/per.missiontoplay.) We will be based in Chapter Arts and from here explore various public spaces, feel free to come and say hi anytime!
We will hold two free public facing events:
- A walk: Free, Saturday 13th July 3:45 pm, meeting at Chapter Arts.
- Reconsidering public space through games, invitations for consideration and exploration, as well as conversation.
- BSL interpreted, audio described, gentle walking pace, wheelchair friendly route. LGBTQ+ friendly, neurodivergent friendly, family-friendly.
