We’re thrilled to welcome you to Seascape 2025, returning to Porthcawl for a jam-packed weekend of free family fun on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June.
Porthcawl Harbour will be buzzing with live performances, headlined by rock-infused reggae band Captain Accident and party favourites The Pandas. They’ll be joined by an eclectic mix of musical talent including lively 20-piece sea shanty band The Old Time Sailors, singer-songwriter The Honest Poet, Osian Meilir’s captivating Welsh folk dance production Mari Ha!, plus performances from BYT, Rock Choir and much more.
At Griffin Park – a new location for 2025 – enjoy a visual spectacle from Strange Weather by Splatch Productions (an outdoor circus performance like no other!) and the moving and magical aerial dance show Fish Boy by 2Faced Dance. At the harbour, don’t miss Talking Bird’s The Whale – a giant metal creature that ‘swallows’ you whole and takes you on an unforgettable, multi-sensory journey inside.
And that’s just the beginning. Over the two-day event you’ll stumble across street performances around Porthcawl. Expect puppets, bubbles and plenty of fun with Aquanauts Adrift, Louby Lou’s Sea Turtles and the whimsical world of Gary and Pel’s land-based pedalo Swan in Love. Not to mention silent discos for those who fancy dancing to their own beat.
Local talent will also shine at the John Street bandstand where community performances will showcase talented musicians from the local open mic scene.
We’re proud to make Seascape as inclusive and welcoming as possible. All live music at Cosy Corner will be British Sign Language interpreted and a quiet sensory zone will be available. Sensory packs, including headphones, can also be borrowed from the information point (subject to availability).
So, get ready for a weekend of free family fun by the sea that you won’t forget!
