Tilbury Riverside Project’s Picnic in the Park promises to be another great day with stage entertainment, local dance school performances, face painting, football skills, messy play, ice cream and refreshments.
We’ll be there bringing our usual creative flair with A Place Between Mass & Echoes by Inviktus Skate Collective combining rollerskating, circus and dance. It’s a love letter to skate communities and the spaces we gather in, exploring what’s left behind as spaces disappear and the vitality of social dance communities everywhere.
Tilbury Picnic in the Park is being organised by Tilbury Riverside Project with support from Start Thurrock, the Port of Tilbury and EMR Tilbury Dock Scrap Metal, Thurrock Council, Thurrock CVS, Impulse Leisure and Active Essex.
Entry to this event and the majority of activities are free and we encourage you to come along with a picnic to share with your family and friends.
Some additional activities may incur a small cost, and refreshments such as tea, coffee, ice creams and cakes will be available to buy on the day.
