Leicester Caribbean Carnival

Our theme for 2025 proudly reflects our heritage and vision:
”Rooted in Unity: Honouring the Seven Principles of Nguzo Saba”, From J’ouvert to Sunset – One People, One Purpose, One Power.
This year, we are celebrating the shared origins, experiences, struggles and triumphs of Black communities in Leicester, bringing together African and Caribbean peoples in a spirit of unity, pride and hope. The 40th Carnival is not just a moment of celebration, but a journey of reclaiming our roots, our history and our space from Windrush (and before) to 2025 and beyond. Our message is clear: We are here to stay!
