As part of the Royal Borough, it is only fitting that the King’s Road hosts a day of extraordinary celebrations for the Coronation of King Charles. Save Saturday, 6 May in your diaries for the King’s Road Coronation Party!
Expect live music and entertainment inspired by the King’s passions, each captured by the ‘plein air’ artists, painting the atmosphere as celebrations unfold. The children of Hill House School, where King Charles was once a pupil, will perform renditions from Mary Poppins, the Royal Hospital’s Chelsea Pensioners will be marching and over 100 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels will parade the King’s Road, coordinated by local business Love My Human. And, expect plenty of surprises from neighbourhood cultural institutions, including The Chelsea Arts Club, the Saatchi Gallery and Peter Jones.
