Upswing brings a spectacular two‑day circus celebration to Croydon high street this July. Inspired by the trailblazing 19th‑century aerialist Miss La La, the event will fill the town with bold performances, hands‑on workshops and joyful creativity for all ages.
Across the weekend, world‑class contemporary circus artists will take to the air with breathtaking displays, walkabout acts inspired by vintage circus glamour, and opportunities for everyone to “give it a go,” from hula‑hooping to beginner acrobatics. Creative craft sessions will invite the community to help decorate the street, turning it into a shared space of imagination and play.
