Since 1997, Reus has been hosting Trapezi, the Catalan Circus Fair. Year after year, every May, the city’s streets and theatres are filled with performances, turning the squares of Reus into outdoor stages and transforming the city into one huge circus tent. With a strong name and open to a range of trends, aesthetics, formats and ways of understanding and experiencing circus arts, Trapezi is a must-attend event for all circus lovers, professionals, programmers and the public, who have a good reason to be in the city of Reus when the month of May comes.
