We wish to participate in Saint-Étienne cultural life by proposing a cultural event open to a wide audience and would like to contribute to the tourist attraction of our region. The Festival des 7 Collines also aims to present the most innovative performers of our time.
Artists deeply involved in their art, who shake up the codes and reinvent what a live show is. With a resolutely modern (which does not mean elitist), multidisciplinary and international programming, we want to privilege rich and unusual encounters in the fields of dance, circus and performance.
The festival focuses in particular on the new forms of contemporary circus and seeks to give them singular visibility through a program of residencies and circus workshops.
For this 29th edition, we are very happy to make you discover remarkable creations, in circus and dance.
At Parc François Mitterrand, under its vast marquee, the Akoreacro company has in store for us an intense moment of joy around jubilant acrobatic prowess. The extreme Guinean acrobats of the Circus Baobab will make us vibrate, at the Opera, with a breathtaking creation. The Dutch company Common Ground will carry us away, with humour, in a poetic and sincere show, at the Comédie. La Dame Blanche and BCUC will share the big stage at Le Fil for an explosive and memorable evening concert.
Here are some flavours of a program open to the international and the diversity of forms that will be available throughout the city of Saint-Etienne.
We are also proud to strengthen our collaborations with many media and institutions and to continue our mediation actions, aimed at young people in the area.
We warmly thank all our partners for their support, essential to allow the festival to continue and develop.
Happy festival to all.
