Etruria Canals Festival, Etruria
May 30, 2026 - May 31, 2026

We’re looking forward to seeing you at Etruria Canals Festival 2026! The event will take place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2026 open to the public 11am-5pm

Alongside the historic narrowboat gathering there will be a range of family friendly workshops, performances, craft stalls and exhibitors, beer tent and street food.

This year’s theme is A World of Gardens: Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Stoke-On-Trent Garden Festival.

To help bring this to life we are programming a range of activities and events. If you have an idea for how to celebrate this please do get in touch!

Story Garden

(11-5pm daily on the main field)

Drop into our garden of poetry and stories from around the world inspired by gardens and flowers.

Across the event artists, performers and community members will bring to life different stories and invite you to add your own.

Perhaps you’ll hear the tragic Iranian story of Farhad and Shirin (which features a canal and flowers!) Or the Talmudic tale of Honi the Circle-Maker.

Have you got a garden/flower story or poem you’d like to share? To help add to the story garden programme please do get in touch etruriacanalsfestival@gmail.com

Climate Cafe Activities

B. ARTS Climate Cafe community members, volunteers and artists will be joining this year’s event running a range of arts activities across the weekend. Check back for more details coming soon.
