Two time-travelling-rockin’-renegades, The Sister of Stylus, have crash landed in your city and need your help! Their time machine is powered by a new, renewable, sustainable bio-energy source; DANCE. They are on the hunt for all foot-tappers, dad dancers, disco divas, jumping jivers, old school ravers and shake-your-money-makers to thrust, power and pulse them back to the future! Glass House Dance was set up by Sarah Lewis and Laura McGill to take contemporary dance into the heart of the community. They have made their mark on the outdoor arts scene, touring nationally for 8 years.

Old Kent Road is a passionate group of tap dancers who are raising the bar in the UK tap dance scene. Bringing their expertise to the British public and sharing the wonder of the art form, they work together to develop distinctive choreography and pay homage to history and jazz culture along the way. This edgy and high energy performance will leave you feeling fantastic! The company will take you through traditional choreography repertoire and expose new concepts within tap dance. Listen out for a range of music from Jazz by Tommy Dorsey where they will perform Harold Cromers legendary piece ‘Opus 1’ to feel good music from Jurassic 5. This set is sure to put a spring in your step.

‘I live on borrowed time, therefore I see no reason why my heart grows not dark.’
Unfamiliar Winds sees two humans embark on a similar, supported journey. Inspired by the oddities in nature and poetry by Derek Jarman, this duet searches for acceptance and the right to be silly in the world around us. Exploring interactions between humans and their greater landscape, through the joys of movement, sculpture and song. The performance invites you to listen, sing and dance in a world where depth and humour are combined, and where the middle of the tornado never looked more inviting.
Everywhere it blows you’ll not want to miss it.
