The Bristol Shakespeare Festival is an annual festival held during June and July, hosting performances and events inspired by the Bard in indoor and outdoor spaces across Bristol. Whether you prefer the traditional or the experimental, there’s something for everyone.

We’ve hosted companies from across the UK—and beyond!—and staged productions all over the city. Our touring companies have performed in spaces including Redcliffe Caves, Brandon Hill Bowling Green, Leigh Woods, Boiling Wells Amphitheatre, and every year the list grows!
