Planet Action Street Arts is located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The mission is to create optimistic art, events, games, and planet-saving actions and build a community dedicated to saving our planet for our children and grandchildren. With the dedication of our board, panels of street art producers, ecological advisors, volunteers, staff members and partners, we strive to create inspiring art, make science accessible, promote planet care and organize urban planting activities to look after nature and our world. Â
Our next very exciting Newcastle event will be on Wed 31 May in Princess Square: greening and multi-colouring the Central Library concourse with flowers planted by citizens and a festival of art, music, games, and education.
Come and learn how wasps look after us, dance the waggle dance with bees and musical ants, meet giant butterflies and hear what they have to say. Join in a mass planting floraissance and fill the library forecourt with colour, scent, and music as we gather people power to create a Noah’s Ark and a BiodiverseCITY of optimism and start to reverse the UK’s 60% loss of insects. Giant jigsaw for all the family.
