Jules Verne’s classic tale is given a modern twist in this colourful acrobatic adventure, sensitively introducing young audiences to environmental issues.
Follow feminist heroine Philly Fogg and her activist friends as our all-female cast ventures around the world, riding elephants, rushing through the rainforest and sailing across oceans to learn how to save the planet. On their way, they’ll witness some of the dangers earth faces because of modern travel, the fishing industry, and deforestation as well as the wonders of the natural world. The colourful narrative, brought to life through skilled acrobatics, unfolds together with original music, interactive protests and a celebratory
finale.
Following the performance, audience members are invited to join the cast on the circus rig trying their hand at aerial hoop, hammock and ladder, with hula hoop and juggling for all. This tactile piece is aimed at young children, families and those with learning and physical
disabilities.
