Street In The Park is back! Get ready to witness epic DJ sets, creative street dance and amazing graffiti.
Come on down to Borough Gardens in Dorchester on Saturday 9 May for a FREE family-friendly afternoon for everyone who loves music mixes, street dance and local DJs who are ready to play a big crowd.
Street in the Park plays host to the Up & Coming DJ Competition enabling new and established DJs to rock the decks. Plus, see performances by local dance schools and professional artists including Isaac Farmer and hip hop musician Isaiah Dreads. Refreshments and food will also be available to keep crowd energy high.
Street In The Park is a performance platform for music, technology and dance and was first launched in Dorchester’s Borough Gardens in May 2019. The event was conceived by students from Weymouth College Music Technology course who worked with Activate to help plan and publicise the event.
Something OUTTA Nothing features the ability for some of the audience to listen to alternative audio tracks using special headsets. Headsets are limited and if you wish to reserve a set, pre-booking here is essential. Headsets will be available to collect from the Activate information tent around 15mins before the performance and must be returned to the tent after the show.
The show also contains a general audio track for all to hear, and therefore no booking is required if you’re happy to watch without a headset.
This performance is part of Street in the Park.
