A festival for the circus arts:
Far from the traditional image of the clown and the elephants, the Chap’erlipopette festival honors more current creations, in which the sensational and the exploit are at the service of a true artistic purpose. This event aims to be a crossroads of Circus Arts, where professional and amateur artists, young and old, sometimes with disabilities, meet for the pleasure of a large audience.
A friendly festival:
Conviviality is at the heart of the Chap’erlipopette week. Outside the marquee, the bar and food trucks, entertainment, concerts, storytelling, provide a festive and family atmosphere.
A festival at free price:
In order to allow everyone to access the festival program, all the shows will be free. Everyone will be able to enter the marquee (subject to availability), paying what they want, what they can, what seems fair to them.
A festival with values:
Reflecting the pedagogy practiced within the Hurluberlu circus school, Chap’erlipopette is only made possible by mutual aid, cooperation, hospitality and respect for all (volunteers, artists, students, technicians , audience…).
The festival also tries to limit its impact on the environment as much as possible with local beers and fruit juices, returnable cups, decorations made from recycled materials.
