This December, Different Light will be lighting up the streets of 5 towns in East Lindsey again as Festive Fabuloso returns!
With support from Arts Council England, East Lindsey District Council has commissioned Different Light to create a new and even more exciting version of the quirky fairground-inspired touring illumination event that will visit Alford, Horncastle, Louth Spilsby & Wainfleet on the following days:
Horncastle: Friday 2 December 4pm – 8pm
Wainfleet: Saturday 3 December 12noon – 6pm
Louth: Thursday 8 December 4pm – 8pm
Alford: Friday 9 December 4pm – 8pm
Spilsby: Saturday 10 December 4pm – 8pm
Each event will include an array of beautiful and unusual installations that will all be designed for the public to have a go at and play with! These will include the Fabuloso Organ that was such a hit last year, a chance to do some Digital Graffiti, a Shadow Puppet Stage, live music and street theatre from Earth Bound Misfits, plus a brand new Carousel Fabuloso based round the old parlour game ‘Exquisite Corpses’. The Carousel is being designed and made by two of Different Light’s associate artists, Dave Cranmer and Lumo Workshop.
Lumo will also be running a series of free creative workshops just after half term that will give local people the chance to help design the Carousel!
